Ballz Montreal was created one night, because two Concordia Journalism students (Roxane Hudon and Shawn Thompson) were a little bit drunk on Jameson and through expressing their mutual frustrations regarding silly Journalism school, decided to start something of their own, which would be the entire opposite of everything they were learning. Of course, it has grown into something different, a space for us and our writer-friends to write what we want, how we want to, about whatever we want, unedited…even though sometimes, maybe it should be edited. But whatever, BALLZ.
