February 3rd: The Day the Music Died

by Onu Oremun

Death can dangerously depress our daily lives.  I’ve heard about these certain people.  They have this ability to withstand incredible tragedy. And I think, comment qu’ils le font ? So I wonder about things; about what I know. Life.  Death.  Tick.  Tock.  Then like most of my thoughts, a scramble of song and sentence come out.

Every day we are gettin’ closer. Goin’ faster than a roller coaster. So you’ve got to do what you want to. A-hey, a-hey-hey. Everyday it’s a getting faster.  Like Buddy said, go ahead and her. A-hey, a-hey-hey. Everyday seems a little longer.  Every way love’s a little stronger. Come what may. It’s okay to long for, love love but free. A-hey, a-hey-hey.
