Three Levels of Thought

POLTICS
Quebec keeps whining against Harper and his redneck conservative policies. The pro-Copenhagen, pro-peace, kissing on the cheeks population of Quebec is outraged. How come a right-wing leader represents us?
Ah-hem.
Let me remind you peace and nature lovers that if Harper keeps winning the federal elections it is due to the fact that Quebec doesn’t want to play with the big boys in Ottawa any longer. Instead Quebec cheers for the powerless kindergarten team, the Bloc Quebecois.
Quebec has 75 federal ridings, making the province the second most influential bloc in any federal election – it holds 24 per cent of all federal seats. So clearly if Quebec really wants Harper out, thy will be done. But it seems that all we really love to do is whine. We keep voting for a party that will NEVER win (The Bloc Quebecois), yet complain about being misrepresented.
SOCIAL INTERACTION
Facebook’s terminology is ridiculous. I walked by a “friend” last night. It took me a whole minute to recognize her. We crossed path without even a silent ‘hey it’s you!’ nod. By the time I realized she was a “friend” she was already far. Truth is, we haven’t met or talked in the past seven years, but: I can tell you what she ate for breakfast this morning.
PERSONAL
It’s 23:51, the lights are shut, I’m in my bed, I have a fever, I’m graduating in 3 weeks, I have no money, I have no idea where I’m headed. This is the story of my life. I can achieve pretty much anything if you give me enough time to go at it. The problem is, once I’m close to mastering the task I suddenly feel a void. Yeah sure, I can do this; I can even do this better than most, but do I really want to do this? Self-sabotaging success. Yes.
